STR Ogden / Eden Utah
We are considering a STR in the Ogden region in Utah. Does anyone have experience in this region?

Hi Jess, the closer to the mountains the better! The upper valley (Eden/Huntsville) has a couple amazing reserviors and two ski resorts. This makes it desirable year round.
At the bottom of Ogden canyon you also have Weber State, if you want to be renting out a little longer periods.
Ogden is way cheaper than the upper valley, but it's obviously a trade-off.
Do you currently live up there?

I just started a free trial at mushvisor.com, it's supposed to be accurate in predicting CoC return and cap rates in whatever areas you're looking at.

The whole valley has strict zoning regulations. Even if you can find a home in the appropriate zoning neighbors do not like it. Find another community to ruin
