Hello BPers! I am looking for a referral to a Real Estate Attorney. I have an issue with a contractor that requires a lawsuit. Anyone have experience with an attorney here in the valley? I would appreciate any and all referrals!
Thanks,

I'd recommend Nearhood Law Offices in Scottsdale. We've used them for property taxes, but they also handle litigation. In fact, they convinced us litigation wasn't the answer on an issue and saved us some money.

@Thyra Dixon Sometimes a low cost alternative is to consider filing a complaint with the AZ Registrar of Contractors that goes against the contractor's license. Best of luck.

I agree that it would be good to start with an ROC complaint. Often, a contractor will pay you to resolve the dispute before a formal complaint is entered against his/her license.
Not sure what part of town you're in or what you're looking for in an attorney. AVVO is the definitive site for ranking attorneys, so that's probably the best place to go to find out more about who is right for you.
Hope this helps - good luck!

Call Kevin Falvey with Platt & Westby, P.C.
He has generational experience with local real estate, and has an enormous amount of integrity.
