Who are some successful Real Estate Entrepreneurs in Los Angeles?

I'm a USC student currently taking a course in Entrepreneurship and need to interview a fellow entrepreneur in the Los Angeles area. 

This is my last year of school and am starting to educate and immerse myself in the real estate industry. After school I'd like to invest through buy-and-holds and flipping houses. 

Who in the Los Angeles area is entrepreneurial and well known for their successes with these methods?

My google searches haven't given me much and figured I'd get the best feedback from here. Thanks in advance!
