Experience with EDD audit?

Has anyone been audited by the Employment Development Department / DE 231TA?

I've been operating for a number of years, and just got a letter informing me that I'm being audited.  They want a large amount of documentation.  I believe I'm in compliance with properly paying my couple resident employees who do a few hours of work for me, but I'm a bit concerned about what they are going to dig into and how much they will want to know about the small businesses I contract for various jobs (landscaping, painters, handyman, electrician, etc).

Anyone have experience going through such an audit?
