Good morning! Long time lurker (and listener to every single podcast) first time poster. Brandon and Josh you guys are awesome and this community is pretty incredible. I've been attending my local REIA meetings for a few months and have started looking at properties. Interested mostly in buy and hold but I think notes are pretty amazing as well. Looking to become more active on the forums.

@Elisha Keller usually the Philadelphia REIA and WHIP (wholesaling) meetings at meetup.com. Nick is the REIA organizer and Marina organizes the WHIP ones. They're usually $20 and it includes dinner. The meetings have taught me almost everything I've learned so far (that and Bigger Pockets!) I like the meetings and Bigger Pockets because they aren't trying to sell you something.
