Hi everyone! I live in Newport Beach, Orange County, Southern California area. I have been doing residential real estate but I am really looking to get into wholesaling. There are many areas in RE you can do but this one interested me the most). I understand the general idea of it but it would be great if I could shadow someone or have a mentor or partner up with someone until I can learn to do this well by myself. Hopefully I can learn a lot more details about wholesaling soon because I really want to start ASAP. Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving!

Will,

Hi! I have actually done a bunch of researching on Bigger Pockets before I signed up and it's funny you say that because I actually read that post of yours before! It was informative and yes we should meet up at one of the local events around here. Do you have one in particular that you're going to next? You're not too far from me, there's many places that are farther!

Vicky,

Thanks for the welcome! That's great you want to do that too. I hope we can successfully get started soon. Before investing myself, I want to do more of the assigning properties for other people, etc. first.

Karen,

Hi! You are so very right about that. This area doesn't have too many distressed properties so I made sure I was okay with dealing with properties that may not be in my immediate area. So maybe not in the OC, but maybe in LA or in the dessert or anywhere else because you're right the inventory for that is low! Hopefully I can get in touch with people that have done it at least somewhere in Southern California in general!
