Hey Everyone in the BP community,

I am excited to be here and learn from all of you. My wife and I are planning to launch a real estate investment business in 2023. We are looking to get my wife out of full time work. We want her to be able to spend more time with our daughter and do some volunteer work. I have been doing a ton of reading, listening to podcasts, and attending webinars. Based on all of that, we are planning to start with a BRRR strategy. Give our location, the current real estate market, and the economy, this seems to be a good strategy for now.

1. 🌎 My wife and I are based in the St. Louis, MO suburbs and plan to get started investing within a 5-10 mile radius of our home.

2. 💫 My goal with joining BiggerPockets is to learn and make use of the financial tools to evaluate potential deals.

3. 🤪 I have owned my own home since I was 20 years old. I did not like renting as it seemed like a terrible waste of money when I could buy an asset that was (hopefully) appreciating.
