Hello,

I'm a registered nurse of 32 years looking to start a real estate investment business. I'd like to start out wholesaling and progress to flipping. It is a pleasure to meet you.

Congrats on the start of your new journey in the world of real estate. To be completely transparent with you, wholesaling is not as easy as a lot of the social media gurus make it appear to be. Here is some advice to help you start and stay motivated.

1. You will be doing A LOT of cold calling which will result in more disconnected numbers, disgruntled people and hangs up than it will actual potential deals. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. Real estate is a numbers game and law of attraction shows you will get 80% no's. Keep calling and you will find your rhythm and make your first deal and then your second and so on.

2. Do not expect overnight success. The key is consistency and patience, everything will work in your favor overtime.

3. Lastly, do not burn yourself  out. If you feel like you are not getting the results you want and at the verge of giving up. STOP AND BREATHE. Its okay to get frustrated, however; just take a step away revaluate and start again.

I recommend joining Facebook groups and attending networking events in your area with like minded individuals to build your knowledge and network.

BEST OF LUCK!! Reach out if you have question or need words of encouragement.
