Luther Miller
Posted

Good afternoon BiggerPocket family!! Im a rookie investor trying to get started in the real estate world in the cleveland ohio area wondering if that was good area to start with or just to start in my own backyard of Jersey. My wife I want to start with the BRRR method since I am currently reading that book. Just looking for some words of encouragement and just a general starting point

Hey Luther, this will really depend on what you're after. I have brokered a lot of deals recently in Cleveland for the cash flow, the cash flow seems to be king up there, however appreciation is lacking and seems to be along with the US national average. Whereas cities like Columbus have some cash flow, but tons of appreciation!
