New member from Maine

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the BiggerPockets community and real estate investing. Right now I'm just doing all I can to educate myself with hopes to make my first purchase within the next six months. Any general advice or links to articles/books/podcasts you've found especially helpful would be appreciated!

I plan to purchase a small multi-family in southern Maine and to live in one of the units. My long-term goal is to make enough passive income to live on comfortably without other full-time work.
