New Member from NYC investing in Connecticut.

Hello All,

I've been a full-time software developer for 8+ years in New York City. I'm married with an 18 month girl and 6 year old boy. In 2011 I started investing in buy and hold multi family residential properties and haven't looked back.

Over the past couple of years, I have listened to several podcasts and read many books by Kiyosaki, Ken McElroy and others. Buying and holding multi-family properties in Bridgeport Connecticut is what I've been investing in over the past two years and we've had some success. My long term goal would be to replace my and my wife's incomes over the next 10 years.

Right now, I am using Bigger Pockets to learn all that I can and possibly find some of the meet-up groups in the New York / Connecticut Area. I'm looking to share my experience with this community as well as learn more and meet like minded people. Thanks for reading, and I hope to meet some of you in person soon!

Welcome! I also invest in Bridgeport. I currently live here as well (Black Rock). I have one rental unit (a condo, looking to buy my first multifamily this year) When you find the right neighborhood in Bridgeport there are definitely some good opportunities with some pretty good tenants.
