New Investor, Finally Coming out of the Lurking Shadows

Hello BP Fam,

I have been interested in real estate for about six years now and have been listening to the podcasts for almost a year now. I have been stuck in analysis paralysis, but have decided I am going to finally take the leap this year.

I am currently active duty military, but I will be getting out this July. My SO is also in the military and will be moving to Tacoma, WA in the next couple of months. I'm wanting to get into multi-family properties, so we are looking at 2-4 plexs in that area. Plan is to start out with a house hack.

I'm interested in connecting with others an I'm seeking a mentor or coach.

Use your VA loan benefit to house hack with a multifamily. I'm active duty and have three homes with my VA loan. You'll have some requirements to show future income, but it might be the easiest "next move."

I wish you all the best.
