Married & Looking for a House Hack

Cierra Melling
Posted

Hi! My name is Cierra, and my husband and I just closed on our first property at the beginning of the year. We turned it into a duplex and it is half-STR, half-LTR. Now, we are ready for the next step and looking for a property in our city to house hack. The biggest issue we are running into at the moment is finding a profitable multi-family unit and how to fund it. That is why I have joined Bigger Pockets—to connect with creative problem-solvers and learn from other investor's experiences. I can't wait to connect with you!

@Cierra Melling

welcome.  just a reminder that the goal of a house hack isn't to cash flow.  so if you could either 1. rent for $2000 a month, or 2. have a $3000 a month mortgage + $1200 rent coming in, you still house hack.  now you're building equity.
