New Investor in the Boston Area

Hey BP members! I'm a newbie to real estate investing and I'm looking to learn as much as I can as fast as I can. I'm in the market to finally move on from renting and looking to purchase my first property in the Boston, MA area. I'm thinking about buying a multi-family (2 units) property as an owner/occupy to start my investing and set myself up for future success. Looking forward to networking with other members and excited to be a part of the BiggerPockets community!

@Michael Zack Welcome.

I was in the Old colony area of Quincy this morning. That's a fast market with multiple offers.

I still think you'd be better off buying there rather than Boston...
