Rochester, NY Based New Real Estate Investor
Hello all, my name is Mehamed and I'm 28 years old. Just finished up college and started working as a nurse. I've recently started diving into real estate investing with a long-term goal of building a portfolio that supports me and my family without relying solely on my W-2 income. Right now, I'm focused on saving aggressively while living with my parents to position myself for my first property - ideally a cash-flowing rental. I'm especially interested in section 8 rentals, buy-and-hold strategies, and creative financing methods.
I'm here to learn, network, and eventually contribute back to the community. I am always open to advice, accountability, and connections with other investors and professionals in NY and/or anywhere else.
