Hello BiggerPockets community! I'm Colin from Northwest Indiana, brand new to real estate investing. I'm curious about investing in the local markets around me as long-term rentals or possibly short-term rentals.

I'm looking for the best way to deploy savings from w2 income. My wife is a stay-at-home mom and could help out with the day-to-day operations. But first I have lots of learning to do in order to invest in my first property.
