Hi everyone — I’m Jake McCain, based in the Kansas City area, running a medium‑sized commercial property management and investment company. I’ve been in commercial real estate for several years now, and have done everything from facilities work to training and directing a staff of commercial managers. My team currently manages just over 4 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space, with roughly half of that owned by our firm and investors, and the rest by owners from across the country. I’m here to share insights on managing large, mixed‑use portfolios, best practices in capital raises, tenant relations, operations efficiencies, and more. I’m especially excited to connect with other commercial investors, property managers, operators, and syndicators, to exchange experiences and learn what’s working in other markets. I’m also happy to answer questions if anyone wants to learn more about commercial property management and investing in the Kansas City and surrounding areas.
