Getting started on my real estate investing journey

Hi all,

My name is Greg and my wife and I have one short term rental property in the area and I’m now beginning to consider moving towards owning more rental properties, with the goal of getting out of my day job.

Anyone want to recommend any other books/authors I should read? I think my next few properties would be long term rentals, just to reduce the time investment per property.

I’ve been reading books by John Schaub, Chad Carson and Gary Keller.

I’m looking forward to connecting with all of you.

thanks,

Greg

Hey Greg, I’m pretty new myself and just starting out, but I’ve heard a lot of great things about The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner and also The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller (sounds like you’re already reading Keller!). BiggerPockets forums and podcasts have also been huge for learning how people are actually applying these strategies in real life. Excited to follow your journey—sounds like you’re on a solid path already!
