Hi everyone!  I’m Cara Hafner, Business Development Lead for Asset Management Group, based in the Kansas City Metro area. I’ve been involved in multifamily real estate for over 20 years, working across a wide range of property types and markets.

“I’m based in Kansas City and most of my work has been in the Midwest, though I’m always interested in exploring opportunities in other regions. I’ve also been involved in properties in Texas, Nebraska, North Carolina, and Nevada.”

My goals with BiggerPockets are to connect with other professionals, share what I’ve learned over the years, and continue growing my knowledge in areas outside of my day-to-day role—especially on the ownership and investment side.

I first got interested in real estate investing through my career in multifamily management. Seeing the long-term value that strong operations bring to a property and its investors made me want to better understand the ownership and acquisition side of the business.
