Newbie... For Now...
Hello everyone.
After doing my due diligence in investing in real estate for the past couple of years, I'm still not deterred and have decided to continue my quest for my first property.
This is what I've learnt so far...
1. Google is a twin edged sword for sure!
As much as I've found intel/strategies and advice it's no fun navigating through all the muck, It amazes me that majority of people just want you to fall into their funnels and pay, pay, pay if you really want them to give you their nuggets, when they really never going to get the full picture.
2. Anything that pops up in your feeds in social media really isn't that worth it at all.
God forbid, you do show interest! Once you start, they won't leave you alone...
3. AI is your friend.
There are so many tools and tasks AI can assist you in.
4. Podcasts have given me more intel than anything else I've found.
I've found more information, methods, and tools that have helped me with making decisions in my next steps as my REI journey continues. Huge shout out @ The Real Estate Rookie Podcast. I can't stop listening and every episode has me writing things down.
The next step for me is to indoctrinate into communities of people doing the same thing that I will eventually be doing.
So, hello, and I hope to hear back from you.
And if you do say hello, I'd love to hear more about your first purchase, How'd it go? /what did you learn? Where are you now since that first purchase?

Hey! Good insights. Its all totally true, especially the part where AI is taking over the world. If you want to bounce ideas, I do a Q+A 3 times a week and its posted in the events forums. No sales, just helping people starting out like you.
