DC Newbie

Hello All,

My name is DeAunte Hawkins. I am new to the BiggerPockets website, although I've become an avid listener of the BP podcasts over the past month. Thus far, my real estate knowledge has been gained through self-study. I'm hoping the forums on the site can help me as much as the podcast have. And I hope to reciprocate my learnings with the next new guy/gal to join the community.

I, along a with business associate, are in the process of establishing a real estate entity here in the Washington DC metro area (which includes DC, Maryland, & Virginia). We are currently focused on wholesaling, but hope to expand into rehabs and flips in the near future.

I look forward to continuing to learn about real estate investing, helping others when I can, and chatting with you all. See you in the forums!
