Newbie in Kansas City

Good afternoon everyone!

My name is Rob Scarborough. I live on the North side of Kansas City. I have a full time job as a salesman in the electrical wholesale industry calling on the top commercial electrical contractors in town. 

I have always been passionate about real estate, although just recently started getting serious about it. I am curious about wholesaling now, but my long term plan is to own several residential properties free and clear. 

Any help/advice is appreciated!

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and all the cash buyers (rehabbers) you will need.

• 9 Reasons You Couldn't Find A Buyer For Your Wholesale Deal
• Don't Start Wholesaling Until You Read This: Wholesale Advice from a Fix and Flipper
• How to Start Wholesaling: Getting Past The Education and Into the Field

You might consider Niche or Specialized Housing like student housing. Rents can be 2-4 times more. Remember you don't have to own a property to control it.
