Seeking Mentorship in Los Angeles
Hello future mentor,
Anthony here. I was told "closed mouths don't get fed" Soooo, I'm currently seeking a mentor, adviser or someone I could shadow in the wholesaling arena. I've read some material on wholesaling but for me, the best way to learn is hands on. Don't worry, I'm not looking for a babysitter just someone who can show me the ropes.
I'm a hard worker, easy to get along with and eager to learn. I don't mind getting my hands dirty especially if there's a payday. One key thing I have going for myself is my full-time job. Being blessed w/that allows me the luxury of not rushing in to any deals or stressing out because I need money to make this months mortgage. Also, my Job is not a very demanding. Meaning, I want have to be pulled away from wholesaling due to work related issues. It's the type of work that stays at work.
Keep in mind, replacing my current job w/Real Estate is my ultimate goal.
If what I mentioned above wasn't enough you, then please let me know how I can help you help me? Thanks in advance.

@Anthony Johnson I do flips, not wholesaling, but I'm always willing to work with people. You can also hit up one of a few REI's in town to meet people there. Tonight there is a Cash Flow game in Burbank run by the Club In Action (www.meetup.com/Real-Estate-Club-In-Action-Burbank-...) where you can meet people. Next week is their regular meeting and you can meet with several people there who do wholesaling. Matt Skinner is one of the guys who runs it and he is a great wholesaler.
Contact me, also, if you want to talk about the business and get a handle on the LA REI scene.
