Newbie from Lincoln, NE

My name is Doug and I have been living in Lincoln, NE for a little over a year. I attended a free seminar hosted by Rich Dad Poor Dad that sparked my interest in REI. However, I did not buy into the program.

I like Linux, electronics, spicy food, and building anything.  I don't like cutting grass, extreme hot weather, or word problems.  My habits identify me as a computer nerd, but I still have a love for the outdoors, fishing and scuba diving.

My focus is to learn as much as I can about REI and my goal is to build up my asset colum/networth in a stable and consistent manner for my family.

I am open to any computer/technology questions that anyone has for me.  I know I will have many questions about investing.
