New Member in New City - Mandeville, LA
Hello! My name is Amy Lopez and I am new to BiggerPockets as well as real estate investing. I am originally from Houston, Texas where I was born and raised. I recently lost my job and decided to move to Louisiana, a state that I fell in love with about a year ago. I chose Mandeville, Louisiana and I absolutely love it here and have already made a few friends. I enjoy meeting people all over this great state and hope to continue to make friends!
I am hoping to get started in real estate investing soon and setting a goal to complete my first deal by August 2015. I hope to educate myself through BiggerPockets as well as those that I meet through this community.
Through real estate investing I hope to establish financial freedom and be able to only work for myself. I also hope to have the funds to travel various parts of the world and also help local organizations and charities. I have never owned a house so that will be my first purchase upon reaching financial freedom.
I look forward to getting to know you all and learn as much as I can, as soon as I can!
