Hi BP,
I'm Melissa Tucker, I live in North Phoenix with my husband 17 yr old son, 12 yr old daughter, and 9 month old son. I've been obsessed with the idea of rehabbing and flipping houses since I was pregnant with my 12 yr old. Instead of pursuing that dream, I got my AZ Real Estate license.
I've sold everything from new home sales, condo conversions, resale, rentals. In 2008/9 I went back to Corperate America then took a couple years off to have baby #3. Now I'm excited to get back into Real Estate. When I was taking CE courses earlier this year, I took a 1031 exchange class - that made me want to work with investors. Then I found Sharon Vornholt & LouisvilleGalsRealEstateBlog.com...which helped me realize that I really want to focus on investing.
The desire to start investing took me and my husband to the Rich Dad 3 Day training this weekend. I started researching the education and their mentors, and that is how I found BP. I'm very excited to become a value adding member of this community.
At this point, I am defining the business but think I want to find an Investor friendly Broker to hang my RE license with and focus on listing, wholesaling, and or flipping probate and absentee houses. I am curious to know if anyone else is both an active agent and an investor. Outside of disclosures, is there any reason why one wouldn't want to do this?
Thank you,
M
