Newbie from Dallas, TX, interested in buying rentals and flips

HI,

My name is Katie and I have been a RN for 26 years. I am married and have two little boys 3 and 4 who keep me very busy! I am looking "outside the box" to find extra income and provide for college educations, etc for my family. One day I hope to be able to do real estate investing full time. I am interested in buying rentals and doing flips. I also do some stock trading which has been very hard this last year with the market. I have a strong desire to learn and have ordered and started reading multiple books and listening to the pod casts and webinars weekly. I am looking to make connections with people to learn with/from and share any information I have to help others as well. I am new to the BP community but it is a great place for everything real estate and I look forward to making some lasting friendships.
