New member from nc

I am currently living in north carolina and will be for another year or so... army...

My goals are to get my first rental property within the next three months.  Being near an army base it is easy to find properties in good area's that can be rented quickly, but i have yet to been able to put in an offer.  I am not sure what is holding me back, be it finance's, the thought of owning property, or the fact i have never done it.  

I hope to get to meet some great people on here and grow with them as an investor and open minded learner.
