Newbie REI (Manhattan/ Westchester)

Hey BP, 

I've been around for a while reading..learning... but now its time to take action and get serious in REI, so this is my first post. I'm a Manhattan resident and looking to get started finding motivated sellers in Westchester county (Yonkers/ Mount Vernon area). I have a mentor showing me the ropes and I invested in a RE business training system. Just registered my LLC and hoping to be able to quit my job within the next 3 months (hopefully a lot sooner).

This week I plan to make my first offer on a property. 

Was working with an agent a while back but they disappeared. Hoping to get connected to another investor friendly agent soon.

*Sidebar* if anyone has access to the MLS in NY or can recommend a investor friendly agent... i'm looking to conduct some research on home sold last year...
