new from Atlanta

Hello everyone,

I am new to this community.

I am an over the road truck driver and I am interested in real estate, I have been for some time. I have joined an investment club in Atlanta Georgia which is about 100 miles from where I live.

I have attended meetings and I have met investors at this social club.

The distance from the office in Atlanta, my job are temporary deterrents from my being able to achieve the possibilities the dreams I have.

I have had set-backs in my life, 'who hasn't!!!

My question is I do need a mentor, this I am certain. I am realistic in my approach and mindset, I realize from reading this forum there are newbies here and men and women who have climbed the ladder of achievement.

I am looking for advice, for help to be more then I can be in this arena of Real estate investing.

How can a newbie such as myself attract those who have the resources the knowledge and professionalism that will benefit them from their tutelage?

I desire to learn, to listen, to grow and in time contribute my time to others like myself who may need a hand up.
