Newbie near Tampa FL
Hello BP community. I have been reading like crazy on here and I love it! My husband and I are interested in buy and hold and hope to make our first purchase by the end of the year.
We have built a house before and rented out a previous home but really have no experience. Thankfully he is in the construction industry and has business experience so that should help. I have managed a company as well, so our skills will transfer to RE, we hope. I am trying to get educated as much as I can and working to connect with locals on Meet up.
So glad I stumbled upon BP while finding REI books on Kindle. BP saved me $350 I was about to waste on a guru. So thanks! I'm happy to be here. I truly appreciate all of the wonderful contributions from all of the experienced members here, I am learning so much. Can't wait to jump into it in the real world.

@Cindy D.Welcome to BP! Steffen, congrats on your first deal! It sounds like both of you are on the right path. Cindy, you mentioned meet ups, I highly recommend them! There are so many in the Tampa Bay area and everyone is so friendly and willing to help you learn at them. I try to attend as many as my time allows me. I look forward to meeting both of you soon.
