New Investor in Greensboro NC area

New investor just getting started in the Greensboro/Charlotte area. Looking to build wealth through real estate. Right now I am just reading a lot to gain more knowledge, hopefully confident enough to invest in the next few months.

Welcome to BP DeMarrius!  I joined BP two months ago I and have learned so much in my short time here.

Add this to your reading collection, "The Bigger Pockets Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing."  It has already helped with my next deal.

Good Luck to you.

Welcome to BP, boss! You will find a ton of knowledge and resources here. Check BP everyday, multiple times a day, anytime you may have a question or idea...Everybody is super supportive and will offer honest advice, even if it may be blunt. So take your time, learn and connect! I'm in the Winston Salem area too looking to expand my knowledge and connections. Best of luck!

Having a team as you put together your investing strategy is extremely helpful in getting things rolling.  Using a team approach helps in "working on" your business instead of "working in" your business.  I'm an Investor Friendly Realtor in the Triad and I work with investors to find the properties that actually meet your criteria.

Same here so much to learn. If you haven't already started, I would start listening to the podcasts. The way I started was by listening to the ones that had "newbie" or "first year" in the title and then as I get more comfortable I just put on shuffle and listen. Honestly though all of the podcasts are informational no matter what level investor (IMO). I haven't made any investments but quickly learning the industry.   Welcome!
