Almost a Newbie in MA

Hello everyone!

My name is Joel and have been educating myself and learning this new language called Real Estate. 

While doing my homework, I stubbled upon this site. Glad I did because of all the free information on here. 

I'm from Lynn, MA. I coach a local Pop Warner Team and work a regular 9-5. Well 8-4 really. 

I have been attending Meet Ups with a few different Real Estate Groups in the area to try and further my Real Estate Education. I have no idea where to start! 

My goal is to learn to Flip a few houses so I can have some money in the bank in case problems arise and then begin to purchase and hold properties for the long term cash flow and be able to be a better provider for my family . 

Please feel free to let me know if you have a Meet Up in Eastern Ma or any advise for me to get my feet wet and become a newbie instead of an almost newbie.
