I have always been intrigued by real estate but have lacked the confidence to get started.  Looking to  broaden my knowledge and jump into my first investment this year.

Welcome to BiggerPockets Emilio!

I purchased my first rental property earlier this year, putting in an offer a few days after deciding I wanted to get into the real estate business with absolutely zero knowledge! While I am not saying this is the best way to "jump into the business," I definitely think that the longer you feed your fears of starting, the more likely you will never get started!

In my case, a lot of things went "wrong" because of my lack of knowledge, but I believe that the best asset you can have is learning how to solve problems on the fly!

Good luck in all your future endeavors and feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding getting into real estate as a first timer. My failures are very fresh :)
