Newbie from Norcross / Atlanta, Georgia Area

My wife and I new to real estate investing.  We are looking into buying rental property in the Atlanta, Georgia area and possibly outside of Georgia.

Our current goals are as follows:  (We are pretty sure that will change as we learn more about real estate investing)

• Learn as much about real estate investing from this forum and its members
• Connect with others on Bigger Pockets
• Save as much money to purchase our first rental property this summer
• Continue to save and attempt to purchase at least one rental property each year after that

Any recommendations on where to get started?
