Hello, to all fellow bp membersy name is ambroise I'm new to bp, and REI. I'm currently looking at purchasing a 4 plex to house hack, areas that I am looking at are East Garfield Park, North Lawndale, Near West Side, Humboldt Park and Little Village. Would any of you recommend any of these areas?I'm looking at multifamilies around 100k to 200k range. Thank you for any input or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ambroise,

I would highly recommend several of those areas. There is a nice amount of inventory in those areas and plenty of opportunity to purchase something off market. North Lawndale is  a bit rough as is the East side of Garfield Park, however they are both homes to very big beautiful buildings with the gorgeous park near by.

Especially Near West, Little Village and the East side of Humboldt park.

If you would like advise or would like help finding something just shoot me a message and I would love to help you crunch some numbers and find a property to hack.

Best wishes,

-J.R.
