Newbie from Southern California

My name is Sergio A Alvarez and I have very limited background in Real Estate. In fact that is one of the reasons I joined BP. I want to learn how to take my "small" income and turn it into something I can be proud of by investing and supplementing it.  I grew up on the Central Coast of CA, made my way down to San Diego and up to the LA/Orange County Area. 

I work two jobs, and one day would like to meet my and my wife's goals of home ownership and having her stay home with our daughter and our soon-to-be son (he's still cooking in there for 9 more weeks).  Confession: we watch a lot of HGTV.

I was brought to BP by stumbling upon HomeUnion through an article. This looked like a bustling community that may be able to help me realize my dreams.
