I am a new "Investor"

Hello everyone, 

I am a new "investor". The reason I am using quotation marks is because I have never yet invested in properties. However, I have invested in few stocks and other vehicle and am very interested now in Real Estate investigating. 

I am reading few books, going to seminars and just joined the community to learn as much as possible before making the big move. 

Any advice, critics, comments or information at all will be appreciated.
