Hi Everyone,

Before I introduce myself: a big thanks to BiggerPockets and the podcast, it has been a great source of real helpful information as well as entertainment, it has turned up the voltage on my dimmed real estate lightbulb of the last few years.

I started with my first househack: a duplex in 2005 that now rents for $950/ea, and in next years bought two more SFR that cashflow -> inspired by rich dad/poor dad reading and working construction while finishing an OPS degree at WWU.

Operated a seasonal campground, self employed in the off season and just saving pennies like a mad-man while the family grew and happily had to feed more mouths. Bought a white-picked-fence forever house while in involved with a biz startup, had a regular job and nice schedule, but soon needed more excitement.

Now manage a lakeside tiny house development, involved with property management, association management, real estate sales, social marketing and basically my little LLC owns me> Argh!

Frustration leads me to reading: 4 Hr Workweek, GTD Method, J Scotts books on flipping and estimating and FLIP and HOLD and the One Thing.

What's my big hairy audacious goal for 2016?

I redefined my freedom number: intend to buy a flip in the next 1-2 months with cash and work on it myself to put the reading into action. Hope to attend the local REAPS soon and get to know you better, perhaps we can help each other reach those goals of 2016 and beyond!

Thanks for reading,

Jan Hensen
