New Year, New Adventures from San Mateo, California!

Hello all! Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a wonderful and prosperous 2016 with their real estate deals! I am just starting to get into real instate investing. My goal is to live financially free and to repay my family for everything they have done for me. I have been reading some books and I must admit, I am a little intimidated by all the information that has appeared before me. But like Theodore Roosevelt once said, "Nothing in the world is worth learning unless it means effort, pain, and difficulty." Also, with the Bigger Pockets community by my side, I know "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!" (to quote Adidas).

So far, my current real estate plan is to buy and hold a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom single family house somewhere around the $300k to $400k range.  The other things are still being planned out...I look forward to learning and improving my real estate knowledge with everyone here! Thanks in advance for all your help!

Hahaha...well that's a super flattering response! :) Glad the numbers blog was one of your first....its one of my all-time favorites!

So rent it out. Since you read the numbers blog, will that property cash flow? :) Or is it just for appreciation?
