1st home duplex buyer

hi everyone,

I am now looking for my first home (finally moving out of my parents,yay!) and decided to buy a duplex. I figured the extra money through tenant rent and (eventually) investment would be very helpful with my lifelong goals. although I know there will be a challenge of fixing or maintaining the house would not be easy, I am up for the challenge. I look forward to remodeling while living in the duplex with the help of my mom and dads prior knowledge of contracting) I joined bigger pockets to gain knowledge and understanding of what I am getting myself into. So I suppose you all will be my teachers.
