I'm 40 years old, from Las Vegas, NV.  I'm completely new to investing, but I know I am made to hop in this ring. I'm on the road to success, one step at a time.

My funds are non existent currently, which is my bane.

What ever I learn, I apply. What I don't know, I'll ask.

Hi Alaric,

Welcome to BP.  As a new investor, I'd recommend taking a look at BP's recommended reading list and podcasts.  It probably wouldn't hurt to use something like Dave Ramsey's baby steps to start saving up some Emergency Funds and Down Payment Money to start out.  Of course, there are many users in this community that have many other ways to help grow your knowledge as well.

All the best,

-JB
