Kansas City Here I Come!
Hey All!
My name's Scott Gillespie, and I'm new to the BP community and to REI in general. I am an educator by profession, but with the birth of my first child and a growing desire for financial freedom, I've begun to do a lot of research into the opportunities available within real estate investing. At this point, my wife and I already own a rental property in St. Louis (that was previously our primary residence), and we are now looking to invest (strategically this time!!!) in buy-and-hold properties in the Kansas City area, where we now live. Right now I'm primarily considering properties downtown and in the Northland, but I'm open to other recommendations as well.
