Invesing in real estate in Texas from abroad

Hi! I am an American who lives in Norway. I have little to none experience in real estate investing as I just have one apartment in Oslo which I own and rent out. Would appreciate any ideas and advices about investing in real estate in USA (especially in Texas) from abroad.
