I am a year away from graduating with a Computer Science degree in Arizona and currently work as a full stack developer. I am aspiring to purchase my first property in the near future. I have been learning some basics and the thought of house hacking a multi-family home or single family home appeals to me. My mission is to create passive income and help eliminate rent expenses.

@Arin H. that's a fantastic idea! If our you buy a DUPLEX as a primary residence (to get the best financing possible) with 3% to 5% down, then continue to save money and buy another duplex (keep that process going until you're forced to do 20% down). As a first-time homebuyer you have loan options with less down payment than normal (even on a duplex) !!!
