Rental Properties New to Real Estate Investment

Hi All,

My name is Robert from North Carolina, Raleigh. I am new to the community and to Real Estate Investing. I really love the topic and I have about 2 months of reading books and my goal is to keep learning until I have my down payment. So my strategy will be to read all the books I can and try to create my own SOP's with specific topics and try to create a process, so I don't have to revisit the books, but right know I still don't have clear what should be the steps    and topics that I should concentrate If I want to Invest in Rental Properties ( family House, 3/2) in the 150K to 180k range, so I can make a process with clear steps to follow. So if anywone can help with some advice I will apreciate your help.

Thanks,

Robert

Welcome Robert. I would recommend start going to houses for sale to get an idea of the market, even if you are not in a position to purchase yet. Also, you can begin research into areas to invest. As far as developing process, other before you have already done this, so use BP to go through some of these. There are some great articles on BP. I like the ones on getting tenants and screening tenants.
