Hi everyone,
My wife and I are working professionals in Lakeland, FL. We bought our first home October, 2015. It is our personal residence. It was a foreclosure that needed primarily cosmetic work. We worked nights and weekends and got the place back up to standard. Now I'm trying to prepare to buy our first investment. I've been reading every book I can get my hands on, and listening to podcasts and reading forum posts. Right now, all I can do is educate myself and save money. I joined Bigger Pockets, first and foremost, in hopes of reaching out to a mentor in the area who might help an aspiring investor, while also taking in anything I can in the mean time.
