New SFH investor in NW NC

Hi, my name is Dawn and I'm new to the investing arena.  I live in a rural area of NC and am finding it difficult to get started with the limited resources available.  I've not found an investor's club in my area and am having troubles locating lists which include motivated sellers in the area as well.  I'd love to network with others in my area or in area's similar to my situation, to explore options that may help us out in our business.
