Private mortgage investor new to Ohio

Hi Everyone, I have recently moved in to Ohio. What a pleasant surprise Cleveland and Columbus are! I am now at Avon, soon moving to Westlake. I am looking to find where the local real estate pros hang out, would love to meet you face to face. I am looking for good deals to lend money on, but first I need to understand your market better. My problem is that I have money but no deals yet! 

On a personal note, I am a workaholic who is also obsessed with sports (trail running and cycling), good food and traveling (I am working on my 5th continent to visit, this month baby!).
