Newbie from WA State

Hello, I'm a new investor looking for my first property.  The Seattle market and close surrounding areas are too expensive and competitive right now.  Is anyone familiar with the Bremerton, WA market for rentals?  It seems in some way a retirement community, but I know there is a Naval yard there that must supply some jobs.  Thanks in advance for any tips.  Chris
